In this guide we’ll cover how you can generate an API key in Hoowla to use with our API documentation.
How can I do this in Hoowla?
Start by going to your profile,
Then click on edit profile,
Navigate to the API panel,
You will be able to generate the API key here,
Change the permissions based on what you need to use the API for. If you’re using it for retrieving data from the system it is recommended to have all the permissions checked,
You do not need to allocate the API to search provider unless you’re using it for one. If you are you can do that here,
Finally press save,
Your new key will be generated. You can copy it as well as view the calls made using it and when it was last used,
