My email is failing to send in Hoowla

This guide will help explain some of the common reasons that emails fail to send in Hoowla. It will also give you tips on how to remedy these issues.

  1. Check your exchange is connected
  2. Check the recipient email address is typed correctly and is a valid email address
    • You can check the validity of any email address by typing “email checker” into your browser
  3. Check the size of the attachments in your email
    • If the attachments exceed 10mb in total then they will need to be compressed. You can search “compress files” in your browser to do this
  4. Check to see if any of your colleagues can send the email or emails in general
    • If your colleagues are having trouble too then Exchange may be down. This can happen as Exchange relies on Outlook which is owned by Microsoft. If this is the case try sending the email again after 30mins or so. If it’s still not working then get in touch with us at support@hoowla.com or call 01792 687146
